Jun 03, 2009 · Is what I found on a search. but I know that 1000 bricks uses 6.6 bags of cement and .75 tonnes of sand. So if there's 50 bricks roughly per square meter you need 20sm to lay 1000 bricks. If a block is 8 x 8 x 16 inch =200x200x400 and you do the math multiply 200 by 400 which is .2x.4=.08 so you divide 20 sm by .08sm = 250 blocks.
