Jul 14, 2005 · does anybody know how much weight cinder blocks can safely handle. im thinking of using them to raise my 60g refugium up so that it is slightly higher than the sump. i was thinking of taking the original stand (24 inches tall) and putting a peice of ¾' plywood on top then putting the cinder blocks on the wood, then another sheet of plywood and the tank.
